Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Quietflex Manufacturing Co LP. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with the production department to minimize downtime and ensure efficient production.
  • Respond to maintenance requests from production and management in a timely and effective manner.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.
  • Assist with the installation and testing of new equipment.
  • Collaborate with management to prioritize maintenance projects and allocate resources effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs.
  • Ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained in a safe and compliant manner, adhering to all applicable regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including DC drives, servos, solenoids, photo eyes, relays, and electric motors.
  • Experience with PLC systems, preferably Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Direct Logic.
  • Industrial welding skills, including repair and fabrication, M.I.G., and T.I.G.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with an associate degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a trade school certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical ability to perform essential responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodations.
