Job Summary

The University of Saint Mary is seeking a PRN Athletic Trainer to provide on-call support to the Athletic Training Department. The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Head Athletic Trainer, assisting with prevention, care, evaluation, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first aid services, injury evaluation, and treatment
  • Make return to play decisions
  • Document injuries, treatments, and rehabilitation
  • Attend practices and competitions as needed
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • CPR/AED certification
  • Certified BOC Athletic Trainer
  • Graduate of a CAATE-approved athletic training program
  • Licensed or license eligible in the state of Kansas and Missouri
  • Affinity for the University of Saint Mary's mission
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to complete USM-approved driver's certification
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
