Preschool Educator

Inspired Minds Childcare Center is on the lookout for a dedicated full-time Preschool Educator who is passionate about nurturing and guiding preschool-aged children towards achieving their developmental milestones. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain effective communication with colleagues and families
• Exhibit strong time management skills
• Model appropriate behaviors and communication techniques for children
• Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality
• Build and sustain positive relationships with children and their families
• Design and implement weekly classroom activities that promote age-appropriate learning
• Complete daily reports for parents, including any incidents or accidents
• Collaborate with a co-teacher to uphold a clean and hygienic workspace
• Assist in creating monthly newsletters to inform families about upcoming events and classroom activities
• Conduct parent-teacher conferences biannually

Qualifications

• Ability to engage in physical activities such as walking, kneeling, bending, and squatting to interact with children at their level
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of child development principles
• Training and certification requirements include:
  • Completion of at least 50 hours of professional development annually
  • Current Infant and Child First Aid and CPR certification
  • Mandatory training as per center policy
• Adherence to all guidelines and policies outlined in the staff handbook, including familiarity with state child care licensing regulations
• Successful completion of background and fingerprint checks

Hourly Rate: $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts
• Daytime hours, Monday to Friday
• No weekend shifts
