The Operations Supervisor will work closely with various departments including Production, Quality Assurance, Safety, Maintenance, and Human Resources, serving as a pivotal leader across these teams. This position emphasizes continuous improvement and problem-solving to enhance operational efficiency and minimize waste.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Production Management: Supervise the activities of team members on a designated shift, ensuring efficient conversion of raw materials into high-quality products while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
  • Change Implementation: Drive necessary changes in processes and equipment to meet production goals, leveraging a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside the Value Stream Team to develop and execute strategies that enhance reliability and performance in the production area.
  • Coaching and Development: Mentor team members to improve their skills and accountability in safety, quality, and operational excellence.
  • Resource Coordination: Organize materials and staffing to support production operations and transitions.
  • Standardization: Ensure adherence to established work processes through effective communication and reinforcement.
  • Safety Assurance: Promote a culture of safety by implementing safety programs and ensuring compliance among team members.
  • Quality Control: Guarantee the production of safe, high-quality products, championing ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Team Advocacy: Address team member relations and oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
  • Engagement Promotion: Foster a high level of team member engagement and morale.
  • Performance Measurement: Collaborate with management to set performance standards and evaluate outcomes.
  • Troubleshooting: Utilize technical resources for maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Incident Management: Identify risks and lead resolutions for operational challenges as they arise.
  • Strategic Participation: Contribute to the implementation of strategies aimed at enhancing production effectiveness.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Partner with HR to attract and onboard new team members efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS:
