Product Mover

Rimports is seeking a skilled Product Mover to join our team at our Provo, Utah location. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for assisting in the movement of products and maintaining organization throughout the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the production floor is stocked with necessary supplies, including pallets, boxes, and other materials.
• Put away and rotate finished products from production, following a first-in, first-out inventory management system.
• Operate forklifts and walkie ridies safely and efficiently, with proper certification.
• Monitor product discrepancies and errors, reporting any issues to management.
• Participate in the mixing of fragrance products, adhering to safety protocols.
• Clear receiving of incoming materials, including fragrance, clamshells, boxes, and other items.
• Keep push back racks stocked for the shipping department, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Assist with special projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt.
• Verify label accuracy, ensuring products are properly identified and tracked.
• Organize and sort pallets, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Be aware of safety precautions when dealing with chemicals, and follow proper clean-up procedures for spills.
• Condense fragrance barrels and ensure proper labeling, adhering to safety protocols.
• Prepare and ship product to the Spanish Fork warehouse, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Physically able to actively participate in a fast-paced production/shipping environment daily, with a high tolerance for scents and odors.
• Maintain a clean and uncluttered workspace, adhering to company standards.
• Report any safety concerns to management immediately, prioritizing a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of forklift experience.
• Minimum 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of production and shipping processes.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• NetSuite experience.

Work Environment:

The combined odor of multiple fragrances may affect those with odor sensitivities and could result in headaches the first couple of days. This position is performed inside.

• Cut-resistant gloves must be worn when using razor knives or blades.
• Protective gloves required when working with chemicals.
• Fingernail length must be kept cut to the tip of the finger.
• Closed-toe and slip-resistant shoes are required.
• Hair must be pulled up and safety glasses worn when working near the production line/mixing area.
• Lift up to 50 pounds, lifting 30 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to grip, grasp, clench hands, and twist wrists for long periods of time without difficulty or restriction.
• Must be able to stand, bend, twist, and move around for long periods of time without difficulty or restriction; use proper lifting techniques when bending, lifting, or pushing.
• Be cautious of vehicles and people moving throughout the work area.
• Must have a high tolerance to scents/odors.
