We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Helicopter Pilot to join our team at Global Medical Response Inc. As a key member of our air medical transport service, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Aircraft Operations: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of our AS350 aircraft, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Medical Transport: Work closely with medical experts to transport patients to and from medical facilities, prioritizing their safety and well-being.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of flight operations, including load manifests and other relevant documentation.
- Communication and Teamwork: Effectively communicate with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners to ensure seamless operations.
- Certifications and Training: Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing ground and air training to stay current with industry developments.
- Commercial Pilot Certificate: Hold a valid Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
- Instrument Rating: Possess a Helicopter instrument rating.
- Medical Certificate: Hold a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
- Flight Experience: Have a minimum of 2,000 hours of helicopter flight experience, including 1,000 hours as a Pilot-in-Command and 1,000 hours of turbine experience.
- Night Flight Experience: Have a minimum of 200 hours of helicopter night flight experience, aided and/or unaided.
- Duty Weight: Weigh no more than 230 pounds, including flight suit and boots.
