The Sports Performance Coach at St. Luke's University Health Network will develop and implement sports performance training programs for individual or group athletes. This role requires a strong background in exercise science and experience working with athletes of various levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate sports performance training programs for youth, high school, collegiate, adult, and elite athletes.
- Conduct human performance assessments and interpret results to apply effective program design in which exercise technique principles are taught and implemented.
- Collaborate with sports medicine personnel to implement injury prevention, rehabilitation, and reconditioning plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Physiology, Kinesiology, Health and Physical Education, Biology, Athletic Training, or a closely related field required.
- Certification as a Strength & Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) or Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) preferred.
