Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by BCBAs to provide high-quality ABA therapy to clients.
  • Provide 1:1 therapy sessions to clients in various settings, including homes, schools, and clinics.
  • Utilize evidence-based ABA techniques such as discrete trial training, natural environment teaching, and behavior modification strategies to support client progress.
Data Collection and Reporting
  • Collect and record data on client behavior and progress during each session to inform treatment decisions.
  • Maintain detailed session notes and progress reports to facilitate effective communication with supervising BCBAs.
Client and Family Interaction
  • Build positive and supportive relationships with clients and their families to ensure successful collaboration and generalization of skills learned in therapy.
  • Assist in training parents and caregivers to implement ABA strategies in the home, promoting consistency and continuity of care.
Collaboration and Teamwork
  • Participate in regular team meetings and supervision sessions with BCBAs to stay informed about client progress and receive guidance on best practices.
  • Collaborate with other RBTs and therapists to ensure consistent implementation of treatment plans and share knowledge to improve services.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
  • Current certification as an RBT or willingness to obtain RBT certification.
  • Experience working with individuals with ASD or other developmental disabilities is highly valued.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles and techniques, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
