Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in evaluating, planning, and implementing medically prescribed treatment programs for patients to restore functions, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury.

Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled physical therapy in accordance with the physician's plan of care
  • Treat patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and maintain maximum performance
  • Observe, record, and report the patient's reaction to treatment and any changes in condition
  • Instruct and advise patients, family, and other health team members in the phases of physical therapy
  • Evaluate and regularly re-evaluate patients
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a physical therapy program at a school of physical therapy approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association or both
  • Licensed in the State of Washington as a physical therapist
  • Health Care Provider level CPR certification
  • Current Washington state driver's license
  • Minimum of one (1) year of physical therapy experience
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience working with frail or elderly population preferred
  • Experience in Medicare Certified Home Health preferred
