Cross Country Locums is seeking a qualified Pediatric Healthcare Specialist for temporary coverage opportunities. This role involves providing comprehensive care for pediatric patients in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procedures: Perform all pediatric procedures, including circumcisions.
- Case Types: Manage a variety of cases such as newborn care, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), diabetes management, hyperbilirubinemia, influenza, pneumonia, dehydration, overdose, abuse cases, and abdominal pain.
- Daily Admissions: The number of admissions may vary, with an average daily census of approximately 2.5 patients.
- Electronic Medical Records: Utilize Meditech for patient documentation.
- Support Staff: Work alongside a dedicated nursing team.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification is required.
- NRP and PALS certifications are mandatory.
- An active North Dakota medical license is highly preferred; candidates must be willing to obtain it promptly.
- PPD testing is required.
- COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory.
Compensation: The position offers a competitive rate of $205 per hour, along with mileage reimbursement, lodging if necessary, and malpractice insurance coverage.
