About the RoleThe Patient Educator will be responsible for organizing and implementing wellness activities, collaborating with the Community Outreach Department to develop engaging programs that promote health promotion, disease prevention, screenings, and lifestyle modification. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a passion for health education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive wellness programs, including public presentations and health fairs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely health information to patients and communities.
- Track and measure program outcomes, ensuring effective evaluation and improvement of services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum one year of medical office experience, with at least six months of clinical nursing experience.
- Excellent computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
