Critical Care Transport Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Transport Nurse to join our team at Global Medical Response Inc. in Stockton, CA.
About the JobThe Critical Care Transport Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care during inter-facility transportation. This involves administering basic life support, advanced life support, and critical care nursing services. The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical and operational skills, with the ability to autonomously guide patient care and ensure safe transport.
Responsibilities- Respond to patient care and/or critical care transport unit calls according to program standards.
- Provide routine and emergency nursing care of patients in the transport environment, adhering to established standards of care and clinical guidelines.
- Perform comprehensive assessments on each transport patient and document findings, therapeutic interventions, and patient responses.
- Ensure accurate completion of supply, billing, and data collection forms as required.
- Maintain equipment in working order, ensuring transport vehicles are clean and fully stocked.
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities and maintain knowledge of current critical care nursing practice.
- Current RN license in California.
- American Heart Association BLS & ACLS Cards.
- PALS or PEPP Cards.
- ICS Courses (IS 100, IS 200, IS 700, IS 800).
- At least 1 year of current critical care experience (ICU, CCU, PACU, or ER).
- BSN or Bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field.
- Current professional critical care specialty certification (e.g., CEN, CCRN, CTRN, etc.).
- Continuing education and training in critical care transport.
