Job Opportunity: Saturday Youth Soccer Coach

Soccer Shots - San Joaquin County is seeking a part-time Saturday youth soccer coach to join our team. As a coach, you will be responsible for leading engaging and fun soccer sessions for children aged 2-10 at local community centers and parks.

Responsibilities:
  • Coach and manage Soccer Shots sessions on Saturdays, delivering our curriculum and focusing on skill and character development.
  • Provide a positive customer experience to daycare center staff, directors, and parents.
  • Arrive on time at locations/sessions, maintain equipment, and manage class rosters.
  • Complete training and evaluation, including new coaches' training and coaching evaluations.
  • Attend meetings either in-person or online.
Requirements:
  • Previous soccer experience as a player or instructor is preferred, but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent minimum.
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation to drive to different locations.
  • Clear background check, including Live Scan with a clear record.
Compensation:
  • During training period: $20 per 35-60 minute session.
  • After training is complete: $20+ per minute session.
Location:

We are looking for Saturday coaches to cover the Discovery Bay, Brentwood, Antioch, Oakley, and Pittsburgh area.
