We are seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant.
Job OverviewThis part-time position involves working with high school students, primarily conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and procedures, as well as experience in behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support systems.
Salary InformationThe estimated salary for this role is $52.50 per hour, based on industry standards and regional factors.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic skills, social-emotional functioning, and developmental levels.
- Interpret assessment results to inform instructional planning, intervention strategies, and individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and behavior management strategies.
- Provide counseling and support services to students individually or in group settings, addressing a range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
- Consult with parents and guardians to foster partnerships that support students' overall well-being and academic success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including 504 meetings and IEP meetings, contributing expertise to address students' needs and goal-setting.
- A Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- A valid license or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting assessment results.
- Sound knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures.
- A strong understanding of behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support systems.
