Job Summary:

DCS Corporation is seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join the Vehicle Integration Team. The ideal candidate will have experience with cable fabrication, electrical and mechanical systems, and ground vehicle integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and install electrical cabling and equipment in ground vehicles and simulators.
  • Modify and repair electrical and mechanical issues in base vehicle platforms.
  • Fabricate and modify bracketry and boxes for custom installs.
  • Produce accurate work and complete assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain tools and equipment.

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
  • High school diploma with 7 years of experience.
  • Experience with drilling, grinding, and modifying mechanical assemblies.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and other relevant electronics.
  • Cable fabrication experience and ability to read electrical schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience building Mil-Spec cables.
  • Experience with welding.
  • Experience running machines such as an End Mill or Lathe.
  • Experience with PCB soldering and fabrication.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems on ground vehicles.

Work Environment:

Less than 10% travel anticipated.
