Fayetteville Technical Community College is seeking a qualified Therapeutic Massage Instructor to join our team. As a Therapeutic Massage Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching face-to-face classes and online courses, incorporating the latest instructional technologies and interactive learning techniques. You will also be responsible for classroom management, recruiting and advising students, monitoring and improving student retention, and participating in faculty committees and other activities as assigned.
Responsibilities- Teach face-to-face classes and online courses, including days, evenings, and weekends, both on and off campus.
- Incorporate the latest instructional technologies and interactive learning techniques in course delivery.
- Manage classrooms effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Recruit and advise students who are in the program.
- Monitor and improve student retention.
- Participate in faculty committees and other activities as assigned.
To be considered for this position, you must have three (3) years of experience as a licensed masseuse, strong communication skills, both oral and written, a high school diploma, and a current NC Massage License. Efficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) is also required.
Preferred QualificationsFull or part-time position available.
