Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Tabitha in Grand Island, Nebraska. This part-time weekend position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our seniors and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to our residents and clients, ensuring their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing services as ordered by physicians and in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents and clients, identifying and addressing any changes in their condition.
  • Document all care provided, ensuring accurate and timely recording of vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant information.
  • Supervise and educate Med Aides on medication administration and other nursing tasks.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Current RN license in good standing in the state of Nebraska or other Nurse Compact state.
  • 6 months of experience as an RN or LPN, with a preference for those with prior experience in long-term care or gerontology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform duties while moving about the work area, with the ability to lift, push, pull, and transfer residents and clients as needed.
