We are seeking a proactive and process-driven Inventory Control Manager to lead our inbound operations in Los Angeles, CA.

About the Role

This is a direct hire opportunity for an experienced Inbound Manager ready to oversee the receiving process, slotting, put-away of inventory, and inbound scheduling.

The successful candidate will ensure that all inventory is processed with speed and accuracy to meet our service level agreements (SLAs) and maintain a well-orchestrated inventory flow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end receiving process, ensuring inbound shipments are processed accurately and efficiently upon arrival.
  • Develop and implement slotting strategies that maximize picking efficiency and inventory accessibility.
  • Manage put-away of overstock inventory, maintaining optimal organization to support effective space utilization.
  • Plan and adjust labor needs based on expected inbound volume, ensuring sufficient staffing to handle peak periods while maintaining SLA compliance.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the inbound team, instilling a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years in inbound or inventory management, with a strong emphasis on process improvement and team leadership.
  • Skills: Exceptional organizational and analytical abilities, with a focus on speed, accuracy, and meeting SLAs.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
  • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and scheduling tools.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is between $85,000 and $110,000, depending on experience.
