Medical Imaging Specialist for Travel Assignment

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team on a travel assignment in Austin, Texas.
Job SummaryThis is a 13-week contract with a minimum of 40 hours per week, working 8-hour shifts. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for operating medical imaging equipment and assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
What You'll Do- Operate medical imaging equipment such as catheters and angiography machines to produce high-quality images of the heart and blood vessels.
- Assist physicians during procedures to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatments.
- Maintain patient records and communicate effectively with healthcare teams to provide seamless care.
- Educate patients on post-procedure care and recovery.
- Current licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist in Texas.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This position offers a competitive pay package based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
The estimated salary for this role is $85,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
