Building Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Building Cleaner to join our team at Campbell Soup Company. As a Building Cleaner, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and promote the recycling program, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Empty product scrap, waste, and recycle containers, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Bale all recyclable materials and maintain a clean and efficient recycling process.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the east dock, baler room, tank farm, storage areas, and other assigned areas.
- Coordinate container pickups with vendors and ensure timely delivery of supplies.
- Repair and clean containers, and maintain an inventory of containers.
- Complete cream yeast CIP of loop and tank, and work with chemicals while wearing appropriate PPE.
- Maintain regular PM for equipment used, and analyze equipment performance to submit work orders.
- Communicate thoroughly with the previous shift's building cleaner regarding unfinished tasks, special requests, or requirements.
- Develop action plans and ensure follow-through on objectives for the department.
- May disassemble, clean, and reassemble production equipment, requiring understanding and retention of set procedures and the ability to detect variations from standard.
- Maintain assigned areas according to set sanitation standards, and work in a steam room (hot environment).
- Must have some mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and ability to work without close supervision.
- Ability to operate a forklift truck and pass licensing requirements.
- Ability to work from heights on a portable ladder or lift.
- Must remain on the job for one year due to training requirements.
- Trained and certified in department programs, and perform efficiently.
- Ensures all SQF, HACCP, CTS, SOP, Safety, and Hygiene standards are adhered to.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists management in solving work problems.
- Complete/close out SAP work orders daily.
- Maintains work area to '5S' cleanliness, housekeeping, and organizational standard.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years related experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to work in a team environment and deal with a changing work environment and high-pressure situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, hot/cold temperature extremes, high industrial noise levels, forklift traffic, and wet environments.
The employee is expected to comply with all safety regulations, support plant safety initiatives, proper operating procedures, and utilize prescribed safety equipment such as safety eyeglasses, safety shields, gloves, earplugs, respirators, and approved footwear.
