Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Tech to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Patient Care Tech, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with direct patient care needs, including activities of daily living, positioning, and mobilization.
  • Contribute to the plan of care through ongoing communication with the RN and interdisciplinary team.
  • Assist with patient data and specimen collection, including vital signs, pulse oximetry, and non-invasive blood pressure.
  • Support a Culture of Safety by providing a safe and comfortable patient/family experience.
  • Participate in hourly rounding, patient observation, and documentation of care.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Six months experience as a Nursing Assistant or is a Nursing Student currently enrolled in a formal program.
  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant preferred.
