Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Procedure Technician to join our team at Corewell Health. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will provide direct care for patients undergoing heart and/or vascular procedures, assisting physicians and delivering quality patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients during routine invasive procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Provide intra-procedural technical support and patient-centered care, communicating effectively with co-workers, physicians, and patients.
  • Perform and record hemodynamic/physiologic waveforms and calculations, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Participate in on-call schedule, being available to respond to emergencies and provide critical care when needed.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on technical equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly and safely.
  • Maintain radiation safety standards, adhering to strict protocols to protect patients and staff.
Requirements
  • Interventional Radiology requires completion of an accredited radiography program (JRCERT).
  • Cath Lab/EP Lab requires a graduate of Cardiovascular Technologist program or equivalent training/education.
  • 1 year of EP, Cath Lab, or IR experience required.
Certifications
  • BLS, ACLS, RCIS/RCES/RT, IABP as applicable.
  • Basic computer skills, math skills, and exceptional communication and customer service skills.
