Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Transplant Care Specialist to join our team. As an Acute Inpatient Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will work closely with kidney, liver, and pancreas transplant patients on day shifts with rotating weekdays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat patients, providing continuity of care by facilitating communication between the healthcare team, patient, and family members.
  • Coordinate care to ensure quality, cost-effective care, appropriate length of stay, and patient safety.
  • Serve as a link integrating relevant research and best practices into patient care.

Salary

$123,456 per year, depending on experience.

Requirements

  1. A Master of Science Degree with completion of a Nurse Practitioner program or equivalent experience.
  2. Registered and currently recorded with the Maryland Board of Examiners of Nurses and Certified as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Maryland.
  3. Certified in area of specialty. (DEA and CDS eligible).
  4. A minimum of one (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse required.
