Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Service: Perform routine maintenance and service of electromechanical equipment at customer sites, ensuring optimal efficiency and reliability.
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Conduct thorough diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues with equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Specialized Service Procedures: Perform specialized service procedures, including field retrofits and software and hardware upgrades to existing equipment, to ensure seamless operation.
  • Customer Support: Provide on-call and emergency support service to customers, responding promptly to their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Purchase tools, equipment, and parts for customer service and support as required, maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety procedures and regulations, maintaining a safe working environment and complying with industry standards.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain ongoing communication with customer personnel and hydrogen suppliers, providing regular feedback and updates on equipment performance and maintenance activities.
  • Administrative Duties: Complete administrative duties and documentation, including incident reports, service logs, and inventory maintenance, to ensure accurate records and compliance with company policies.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical and mechanical coursework, with three or more years of direct experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Technical Skills: Possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle. A Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement is required after employment.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, dynamic interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis unassisted, with knowledge of lift truck operation and applications highly preferred.
