Start Your Career in Pet Grooming:

As a Groomer Trainee at PetSmart, you'll have the opportunity to build personal relationships with clients and their pets. You'll learn about different dog breeds, styling, and gain hands-on experience in our grooming salon.

Our Training Program:

We offer a comprehensive training program that will set you up for success. You'll start as a bather, learning about safety and pet care, and progress to grooming and styling. You'll receive a free tool kit worth over $600 upon graduation.

What to Expect:

  • Stage 1: Bather - Get hands-on experience with our pets, learning about different breeds and styling.
  • Stage 2: Grooming Academy - Attend our 4-week classroom program, gaining insights from experienced trainers and learning about breed styling and pet care.
  • Stage 3: Groomer Trainee - Put your new education to work, grooming all different breeds and sizes of dogs under the guidance of experienced groomers.
  • Stage 4: Pet Stylist in Training - Build relationships with your own clients, advise on styles, and share in the joy of seeing pets leave our salon looking and feeling their best.
