You will be responsible for overseeing the verification and validation processes of concepts and solutions, focusing on maintainability through close collaboration with the engineering department.

Engagement in cross-functional teams is essential, as you will support product development by identifying and implementing optimal technical solutions that align with established maintainability specifications.

Your responsibilities will also include conducting packaging and accessibility assessments utilizing computer-aided design tools (preferably PTC CREO).

Additionally, you will perform cost analyses to construct business cases for products and technologies, ensuring that selections are optimized for maintainability.

Monitoring and analyzing vehicle maintenance data to uncover trends and patterns will be crucial, allowing you to recommend necessary corrective measures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in software, electrical & electronic, computer science, automotive, or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in crafting solutions for the transportation sector, particularly Class 8 heavy-duty trucks.
  • Familiarity with vehicle software and hardware architecture.
  • Understanding of heavy-duty truck systems, software architecture, and diagnostic protocols (ISO14229 preferred).
  • Expertise in data extraction, analysis, and automation focused on engineering solutions.
  • Knowledge of reliability principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., FMEA, RCM, fault tree analysis) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, with a preference for Python.
