Position Overview
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in delivering personalized healthcare to residents under the supervision of our nursing team. This position is essential in ensuring the comfort and safety of residents by assisting them with their daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
  • Recognize and respond to the individual needs of residents.
  • Assist in lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents in various settings.
  • Monitor residents' conditions, documenting food and liquid intake, output, vital signs, and daily living activities, and report any changes to the charge nurse promptly.
  • Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system.
  • Verify resident identification to provide appropriate care.
  • Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge processes for residents.
  • Engage residents in recreational and therapeutic activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A current State-Certified Nursing Assistant certification, or the ability to work up to 120 days before passing the certification exam, including being a recent graduate of a certified nurse aide program.

Additional Requirements
Applicants should adhere to all policies regarding resident rights and confidentiality, follow infection control protocols, and report any complaints or grievances to supervisors. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for managing emotional or challenging situations while responding promptly to the needs of residents.
