Sedgewood Commons Now Hiring LPN

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Sedgewood Commons in Falmouth, ME. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver efficient and effective nursing care to patients, achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Evaluate patients to collect data, observe condition, and report changes in condition to the healthcare team.
  • Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning, ensuring comprehensive and individualized patient care.
  • Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.
  • Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing and currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure. Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred, and you must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
