Job Title: Certified Nurse Assistant

Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is a leading provider of correctional healthcare services. We are seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to join our team at the Western NM - South Correctional Facility in Grants, NM.

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Nurse Assistant will assist with daily operations, including assisting inmates with activities of daily living, checking vital signs, and maintaining records of fluid intake and output.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist inmates with activities of daily living, such as feeding, bathing, and dressing
  • Check vital signs, height, and weight as assigned
  • Collect and maintain records of fluid intake and output
  • Report on the condition of inmates
  • Clean bedside units, nursing workrooms, and equipment
  • Assist with medications ordinarily self-administered when specifically ordered by a physician
Requirements:
  • Current, valid Nursing assistant certificate
  • Current CPR certification
  • Completion of a certification program from an accredited nursing assistant program
