Optician Specialist

As an Optician Specialist at Sam's Club, you will provide exceptional service to our Members by identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, and promoting our products and services.

You will maintain the Sales Floor in the Optical area by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, and arranging merchandise. You will also receive and stock merchandise, and organize and maintain the Optical area according to Company procedures.

In addition, you will operate hardware such as cash registers or related equipment, process Member purchases, and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges. You will also sell Optical products and services by assisting Members with purchasing decisions, measuring, adjusting, and repairing frames and lenses.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00*, and additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in the optical industry preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
