Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting. The LPN will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans. The LPN will be responsible for attending to the daily operations of the unit and assuming leadership roles as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Assume leadership roles as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the unit.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current LPN license.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
