Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Customer Service Specialist to join our team at i3 Verticals Management Services, Inc. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of health insurance plans, and the ability to resolve complex issues in a timely manner.

About the Role:

  • Provide expert customer service to patients, insurance members, and healthcare providers via phone and electronic channels.
  • Respond to inquiries related to insurance coverage, medical claims, and patient services, ensuring accurate and empathetic communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and services provided, adhering to data privacy regulations.
  • Assist with claims and billing support, educating patients on benefits coverage and insurance-related questions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, handling sensitive information with confidentiality and care.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare or insurance setting.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Familiarity with health insurance plans, including HMO, PPO, Medicaid, Medicare, and private plans.
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus, as we serve a diverse patient and member base.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
