About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our team at PP&Co. As a Senior Tax Manager, you will play a key role in managing tax engagements for a diverse range of clients, building and nurturing client relationships, and providing planning, research, consulting, and compliance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage tax engagement teams and work with other technical specialists to advise clients on complex issues.
  • Provide planning, research, consulting, and compliance services to clients, assisting them in achieving their goals and objectives.
  • Mentor and develop junior associates, providing performance feedback and guidance to help them develop their technical and industry skills.
  • Participate in in-house CPE classes and assist in researching technical issues, writing technical memorandums, preparing analyses, and participating in IRS audits on behalf of clients.
  • Manage clients, including writing proposals, engagement letters, budgeting, staffing, and billing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA or CPA candidate preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting.
  • Advanced technical skills in tax compliance and planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
