Job Title: Chief Cybersecurity Architect Leader Baltimore MD

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Cybersecurity Architect Leader to lead our Cybersecurity Architecture group in Baltimore, MD. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our organization's security posture and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional technical expertise, and a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with our company's overall security architecture.

Estimated Salary Range: $175,000 - $200,000 per year, based on factors such as experience, skills, and location.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Cybersecurity Architecture Group: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our enterprise cybersecurity architecture.
  2. Develop Strategic Plans: Create and execute comprehensive cybersecurity strategies aligned with business objectives.
  3. Evaluate Security Solutions: Assess and recommend enterprise security technology platforms and products.
  4. Maintain Security Standards: Develop and update our enterprise security architecture and relevant cybersecurity standards.
  5. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security solutions.
  6. Review and Evaluate Solution Designs: Ensure proper security capability implementation and alignment with technical and reference architectures.
  7. Manage Threat Models: Develop, maintain, and integrate threat models into solution design processes.

This is a hybrid role requiring regular collaboration with colleagues, so it's essential to be located within commuting distance to one of our offices in Baltimore, MD, or other nearby locations. We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages to support your career growth and well-being.

Requirements
  • Experience**: Minimum 9 years in Cybersecurity, with at least 5 years as an engineer or enterprise IT solutions architect.
  • Education**: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Technical Skills**: Formalized training in industry-standard architectural frameworks and techniques (e.g., NIST, GDPR, CCPA, PCI/DSS). Experience designing Cardholder Data Environments for PCI/DSS compliance.
  • Preferred Certifications**: Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
