Job Title: Assistant Manager - Operations Lead

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager to join our team as an Operations Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in leading and supporting a team of Team Members and Supervisors that work at our locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing staff consisting of Team Members and Supervisors.
  • Operational Excellence: Promote and maintain consistent accountability and adherence to company policies and procedures, ensuring all operational changes are communicated and implemented in-store.
  • Safety and Security: Follow all safety guidelines for working with lye, raw materials, and equipment.
  • Guest Experience: Provide excellent guest service by building good relationships and understanding and meeting their needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Become an expert in the products that are made at the store and be able to make recommendations.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Scheduling employees to meet the daily needs of the business.
  • Culture and Values: Embody our culture, mission, and core values.
  • Initiative Execution: Work closely with the General Manager to execute all initiatives in the store.
  • Performance Metrics: Achieve and maintain all major key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Inventory Management: Generate sales reports, maintain inventory and production.
  • Guest Retention: Maximize guest retention through leading and training the store team to ensure high levels of customer service.
  • Store Maintenance: Manage and track stock of raw materials, finished products, and supplies.
  • Community Engagement: Develop partnerships with local community members and participate in local events to build brand awareness.
  • Marketing and Sales: Communicate and manage all marketing strategies and sales/promotions to the team, ensuring proper execution to drive results.
  • Communication: Communicate regularly with the team, office support staff, and serve as a liaison between the store and the office.
  • HR and Payroll: Final approval and reviewing of all HR documents, payroll, supply orders, and sponsorship requests.
Requirements:
  • Previous Management Experience: Previous management experience is preferred.
  • Education: Minimum High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Drive, and Microsoft Office.
  • Teamwork and Organization: Must be team-oriented, self-motivated, and well-organized.
