The Clinical Nurse Coordinator plays a pivotal role in leading the collaborative efforts with the Director/Designee, focusing on planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating patient care.

Care delivery is tailored to meet age-appropriate criteria and considers the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and educational needs of each patient.

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator is responsible for performing delegated tasks in alignment with the scope of practice and adheres to the philosophy and overall care plan at Swedish Medical Center, while demonstrating strong support for the organization's goals, values, and mission.


Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure.
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a related health degree is required. Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Demonstrated knowledge of nursing theory and practice is essential.
Ability to manage direct patient care and charge nurse responsibilities. Capacity to take on a leadership role within the healthcare team for effective patient care planning and delivery.
Proficiency with patient care information systems is necessary.
Strong organizational, analytical, and written communication skills.
Ability to educate, mentor, and guide staff using adult learning principles.
