Job Summary:

We are seeking a federal work study student to join our Tutoring Services department on the Gainesville campus. As a STEM Peer Tutor, you will work with students, faculty, and staff to provide academic support in various STEM disciplines.

Responsibilities:
  • Tutor students in one or more STEM disciplines, including first- and second-year mathematics, general physics, general chemistry, and accounting.
  • Assist students, faculty, and staff with all services provided by UNG tutoring centers.
Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with students in a tutoring or academic support setting.
