Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation. As a key member of our Nutrition Services department, you will play a vital role in providing medical nutrition therapy to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans for patients, utilizing the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) as recommended by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive nutrition services, including assessments, consultations, and education.
  • Participate in outpatient clinics, providing medical nutrition education and developing standards, guidelines, and education materials.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in the electronic medical record, adhering to established standards of care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, or a related field.
  • Registered Dietitian and member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • One year of experience in providing nutritional consultations and assessments.
  • Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions related to medical nutrition services.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with diverse populations.
Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, sit for extended periods, and use a keyboard frequently.

Reporting Relationship

This position reports to the Manager of Nutrition Services.
