Job Summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Fuel Porter. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience at our travel centers.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all guests
  • Process transactions efficiently and accurately using our point-of-sale system
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked food and beverage area, as well as merchandise displays
  • Prioritize tasks according to store and management needs, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation
  • Follow safety guidelines and report any potential hazards or incidents
  • Establish strong communication and rapport with colleagues and leaders
Requirements:
  • A dedicated and customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills
  • Basic computer and point-of-sale knowledge preferred
  • Cash handling skills preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
