Position Overview:
This role is essential for the upkeep and cleanliness of the campus facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:
The individual in this position will be tasked with various duties, including but not limited to:
  1. Performing cleaning services across campus buildings.
  2. Supporting the custodial mission through effective maintenance of university properties, ensuring they are visually appealing.
Additional Duties:
On occasion, the technician may be required to:
  1. Assist Grounds and Maintenance teams during adverse weather conditions.
  2. Carry out other related responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  1. A high school diploma or GED.
  2. Experience in custodial services within educational, healthcare, or hospitality settings.
  3. A valid driver’s license and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Skills and Abilities:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
  1. Physical capability to perform tasks involving lifting, bending, reaching, and climbing.
  2. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Knowledge of custodial practices in both business and residential contexts.
  4. Proficiency in operating standard custodial equipment and tools.
Performance Expectations:
Evaluation criteria for this position include:
  1. Understanding of university fundamentals.
  2. Effective execution of duties aligned with the mission and values of Custodial Services.
  3. Delivery of prompt and courteous service to all stakeholders.
  4. Quality and timeliness of work in accordance with established standards.
