Position Summary:

The Electronics Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role in diagnosing and rectifying issues with electrical systems and components on vital facility machinery, including machining centers, lasers, and robotic systems. This position demands a specialized skill set in electronics and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilities Management: Collaborate with vendors and contractors to oversee utilities, site monitoring systems, air handling units, refrigeration systems, and fire safety systems. Conduct troubleshooting and maintenance of paint and wastewater treatment systems.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Evaluate, recommend, and implement modifications to existing control systems. Manage the ordering and procurement of spare and replacement parts.
  • Diagnostics and Repair: Identify and resolve issues with electrical equipment and control systems. Lead investigations into manufacturing challenges related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost, providing actionable solutions.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses to determine the underlying causes of mechanical failures.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2+ years in a related field.
  • Skills: Proficient in interpreting electronic schematics and troubleshooting microprocessor-based control systems. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to apply skills effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with PC and PLC programming, alongside strong problem-solving capabilities in electrical and electronic contexts.
  • Work Environment: This position is based at a single site.
