The Program Manager acts as the primary point of contact (POC) for the WPAFB client and community. This role is accountable for ensuring that all tasks performed under the Performance Work Statement (PWS) adhere to established requirements and responsibilities. The Program Manager holds the authority to make and implement decisions regarding contract performance and modifications.

This position involves the establishment and maintenance of a performance-oriented organization that leverages best practices and continuous improvement strategies to deliver exceptional service and achieve substantial cost efficiencies. The Program Manager ensures that the client's facilities are operated and maintained in a cost-effective, efficient, and exemplary manner.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Directing and overseeing the performance of AFPS personnel and their respective departments.
  • Resolving issues and conflicts while maintaining open lines of communication with staff, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensuring all documentation and deliverables are precise, comprehensive, and submitted punctually.
  • Preparing and delivering formal presentations for various contract and corporate business needs.
  • Monitoring, analyzing, and trending project costs while managing the planning, budgeting, and financial processes.
  • Ensuring adherence to training and certification standards.

A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is essential.

Candidates must demonstrate the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities acquired through training and/or experience to fulfill the role's responsibilities.

A Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred. Advanced certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or P.E. Certification are advantageous.

Experience in Base Operations Support (BOS) and in a managerial capacity within a governmental or contracting context is required.
