Nemours Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Emergency Department team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children from birth to age 18.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and provide care to assigned patients
- Utilize critical thinking to formulate nursing plans based on patient needs and problems
- Formulate, implement, and evaluate nursing plans based on patient complex needs and problems
- Assist patients and families in discharge planning to ensure problems and care needs are anticipated and met
- Serve as an advocate for patients and families in working with other members of the healthcare team
- Provide safe and appropriate nursing care through adherence to Nursing Department standards
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Must have 2-3 years of previous nursing experience
- Pediatric ED and Pediatric preference preferred
- Must be eligible for Delaware State license (or compact license)
- Bilingual preferred
- American Heart Association BLS required upon hire
