Job Title: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist

Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Chicago, Illinois.

Job Description & Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide quality patient care during this challenging time. As a member of our Respiratory Team, you will develop and ensure the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and other therapists.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluating patient needs and recommending treatment plans
  • Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions
  • Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
  • Timely and accurate documentation
  • Promoting continuous quality improvement
  • Teaching and counseling patients/families

Candidates must possess exceptional efficiency, attention to detail, and strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety. Compassion and sensitivity are essential qualities for this role.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification
  • BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families

At least 2 years of experience is required for this position.
