Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Waterline Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Jefferson Parish, LA. As a key member of our Water Department, you will be responsible for supervising a crew of equipment operators, skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled workers in the extension, repair, and maintenance of water lines, mains, and fire hydrants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a crew of workers in the maintenance and repair of water distribution systems
  • Investigate and resolve complaints of faulty operators and/or damages to the water distribution system
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Manage and maintain equipment and vehicles
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of paid work experience in the maintenance and repair of municipal, sub-surface utility lines
  • Valid Class D driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
