Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant

At NorthBay Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Medicine team. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our medical team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide patient care based on age-related needs, demonstrating current knowledge and skill in providing appropriate care for patients in various age groups.
- Evaluate patient's physical and emotional status, using computer, MS Word, Outlook, and telephone to communicate effectively.
- Collaborate with the supervising physician and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical advancements and protocols.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program approved by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Current Physician Assistant licensure by the State of California Physician Assistant Examining Committee and Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Maintains a current DEA license for schedule II drugs and current AHA or equivalent certification in ACLS and BLS.
- Experience as a Physician Assistant practicing in a related field or completion of internship in emergency medicine at NorthBay.
- Competitive hourly pay range $82.00 - MAX $100.80, with MAX rate commensurate with 20+ years APP experience.
- Generous 10% per-diem shift differential available to qualified staff.
