Automotive Refinishing Specialist

Job Summary:

This position will provide technical support to customers, focusing on sales growth and customer retention for the PB&E sales organization. The ideal candidate will have experience with automotive refinishing and a strong understanding of paint and chemical aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and equipment practices during work hours.
• Perform product demonstrations and line trials for prospective and existing customers.
• Provide in-shop product training for new and existing accounts.
• Resolve product failures by identifying systemic causes and providing solutions.
• Support color issues with key accounts and sales/installation of new products.
• Conduct technical reviews of repair processes to ensure proper product use and customer output enhancement.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school graduate with some college coursework desired.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automotive refinishing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in automotive refinishing.
• Completion of paint manufacturer training in waterborne paint application.
• Strong color matching abilities and I-CAR certifications.
