We are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team at JAG Physical Therapy. As an Outreach Athletic Trainer, you will provide athletic training services under JAG Athletic Training, ensuring the health and safety of athletes.
This role involves coordinating medical care, managing athlete health records, and developing fitness-related educational programs for local communities. In addition to athletic training duties, the position includes administrative responsibilities and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to enhance departmental growth and efficiency.
What You'll Love About Us- Competitive salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
- Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 including relocation reimbursement up to $2,500
- Team of full-time and per diem athletic trainers to assist JAG Athletic Training contracted site athletic trainer

- Establish and maintain an effective athletic training program for the contracted JAG Athletic Training organization
- Provide AT services for athletic events and competition
- Create and maintain a safe playing environment by monitoring and controlling environmental risks
- Coordinate, manage, and implement the medical and risk management of all athletes, inclusive of preventative care, emergency care, and maintains health records for athletes affiliated with contracted organization
- Act as the workers compensation case manager for the professional contracted team both in and out of season
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Athletic Training (CAATE Approved program) and completion of the BOC certification
- Maintain the BOC-required 50 CEU's per certification period (every two years)
- Licensed by the State of New York as an Athletic Trainer
- Current BLS certification
- Maintain Personal Liability Insurance
