Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality patient care in all patient care settings, adhering to established policies, procedures, and standards of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and effective communication.
  • Utilize department guidelines to assess therapy for appropriateness of care and offer suggestions for changes when necessary.
  • Establish and maintain respectful working relations with internal and external customers, demonstrating behaviors that reflect an attitude of customer service, responsiveness, and concern.
  • Proactively identify problems or issues and suggest alternative solutions, using resources such as team members, written or online manuals, or work-related materials.
Requirements:
  • Current License as a Respiratory Care Practitioner for the state of Indiana
  • Graduation from CoARC (Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care)
  • Passed the N.B.R.C. (National Board for Respiratory Care) registry exam within 13 months of hire date
  • Healthcare Provider Certification
  • Preferred certifications: ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deal with confidential patient information
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work with EMR
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy
  • RRT certification
  • BLS Certification
  • RCP License
