  • Communication: Handle telephone inquiries from patients regarding test results, medications, and treatment instructions as directed by the physician.
  • Referrals and Hospitalizations: Arrange for hospitalization, referrals, or performance of special procedures for patients.
  • Clinical Environment: Maintain a clean, attractive work area and keep clinical areas stocked with appropriate medical supplies.
  • Instrument Cleaning: Clean and sterilize medical instruments, surgical trays, etc.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate of a medical assistant program or school of nursing. MA candidates must be able to obtain certification.
  • Experience: Prior experience is required.
